Love the shoes but the cables are still too long

I was headed to the south Pacific where the ocean bottom is often rough, so I needed water shoes. I didn't know much about buying water shoes, but these seemed right. Well, I made the right choice! While my friends were picking sand and shells out of their shoes, mine fit snuggly just below my ankle, so very, very little sand got in (and no annoying shells or rocks). Now, I must add that even with the removeable inner soles, the bottoms are a bit thin so you will feel some roughness if you step on uneven surfaces, but overall, I LOVE these water shoes. And they are easy to pack, as they lie flat in their included plastic case.

We are outdoor people. These shoes are perfect for just about everything we do from hiking, beach combing, and yard work. If they get dirty just throw them in the washer.

My daughter loved the water socks...they protected her feet from the pool bottom as well as the hot asphalt. Would highly recommend!!
